     Big relief for .

The settlement agreement filed in the court says;• 100% money was sent to the field.• No personal gain for K P Yohannan or his relatives

Dallas- Texas: After three years of long legal battle in the US federal court, Gospel For Asia gets big relief as the law suit finds its end in an out of court settlement.GFA faced TWO lawsuits in US accusing it of sending only 13 percent of its donations to the field instead of the oft-promised 100 percent.

The first of those lawsuits was dismissed earlier. Then its plaintiffs were included in the second lawsuit

And the second law suit ended as both the parties decided to have the out of court settlement. The plaintiff (Murphy) agreed that 100% of the money meant for field was ultimately sent to the field. They had earlier accused GFA of sending only 13% and that proved wrong.

The decision had come in the light of Gospel For Asia engaging one of the big four accounting firms in US to audit their financials. The audit proved that all money raised for field was sent to the filed.

Gospel for Asia also denied all the accusation levelled against them by the plaintiff. The settlement was initiated since the law suit can go for another couple more years before it comes to an end. Both the parties have felt the need of settlement and bringing the legal battle to an end once and for all.

The settlement will boost Gospel for Asia’s earlier stand that they have not diverted or misappropriated donations received from the donors. The court document says “Gospel ForAsia’s positions remained as per the evidences that all funds designated to the field were send to the field and used and no individual defendant received any improper personal gain or enrichment from or related to donor funds”.

Many prominent Christian leaders issued statements expressing their happiness to the news that the law suit ends and Gospel For Asia is cleared of accusations.

“I am grateful that Yohannan has been cleared of the accusation,” “I know that public figures will often be wrongly accused. It goes with the territory.” said popular preacher and celebrity author Francis Chan

GFA has always maintained that funds were not used fraudulently and the settlement agreement refutes previous claims that only a small percentage of donations made it to the mission field.

“For three long years, our ministry wondered more often than I’d like to admit if we would survive this ordeal,” GFA’s founder K.P. Yohannan said of the legal action. “I’m most proud of the fact that we managed to continue to serve those in need even as we fought every day to survive ourselves.” He added.

“The fact of the matter is that Gospel for Asia did not act fraudulently, and all the donations they received made it to the field also the good news is that the lessons learned from this burdensome series of events will make the ministry stronger,” Said Johnnie Moore, who serves on the evangelical advisory board of President Donald Trump
