ഫെഡറേഷന്‍ ഓഫ് കേരള അസോസിയേഷന്‍ ഇന്‍ നോര്‍ത്ത് അമേരിക്ക യുടെ 2016-2018 ലേക്കുള്ള ജനറല്‍ ഇലക്ഷനും ജനറല്‍ ബോഡി മീറ്റിങ്ങും ജൂലൈ 3ന് കാനഡയിലെ ടൊറന്റോയിലെ മാറക്കാനാ സിറ്റിയിലുള്ള ഹില്‍ട്ടണ്‍ സ്യൂട്ടില്‍ വെച്ച് നടത്തുന്ന ഫൊക്കാനാ നാഷണല്‍ കണ്‍വന്‍ഷനില്‍ വെച്ച് നടത്തുന്നതാണ്.
അംഗത്വം പുതുക്കാനുള്ള സുശ്മ പരിശോദനക്ക് ശേഷം അംഗ സംഘടനകളെ പ്രതിനിധികരിക്കുന്ന 240 തോളം ഡെലിഗേറ്റ്സ് ലിസ്റ്റിനാണ് രുംപംനൽകിയിട്ടുള്ളത് , ഇവരോടൊപ്പം ഫൊക്കാനയുടെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ഭാരവഹികൾ, കമ്മറ്റി മെംബേർസ് ,ട്രസ്റ്റി ബോര്ഡ് മെംബർസ് എന്നിവർക്കും വോട്ട്അവകാശം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും.
പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌ , സെക്രട്ടറി ,ട്രഷറർ , എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവ്‌ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌,വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌, ജോയിന്റ്‌ സെക്രട്ടറി,ട്രസ്റ്റി ബോര്ഡ് മെംബർ (1) എന്നീ സ്ഥാനങ്ങലിലേക്ക് രണ്ടു പേരുടെ വീതം നോമിനേഷൻ ലഭിച്ചതിനാൽ ഇലക്ഷൻ പ്രോസസുമയി മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുമെന്ന് ഇലക്ഷന്‍ കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയര്‍ പെര്‍സണ്‍ ജോർജി വര്‍ഗീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.
അസോ.ജോയിന്റ്‌ സെക്രട്ടറി, ജോയിന്റ്‌ ട്രഷറര്‍ , അസോ. ജോയിന്റ്‌ ട്രഷറര്‍ ,ഏഴ് രീജണൽ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌മാരെയും പതിനൊന്നു നാഷണൽ കമ്മറ്റി മെംബെർസിനെവേണ്ടിയും ഓരോ നോമിനേഷൻ മാത്രമേ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളൂ എന്ന് ഇലക്ഷന്‍ കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയര്‍ പെര്‍സനും,ട്രസ്റ്റീ ബോര്ഡ് വൈസ് ചെയർമാനുമായ ജോർജി വര്‍ഗീസ്, ഇലക്ഷന്‍ കമ്മറ്റി അംഗങ്ങള്‍ ആയ മുന്‍ ഫൊക്കാന സെക്രട്ടറി ടെറന്‍സണ്‍ തോമസ്, ട്രസ്റ്റീ ബോര്ഡ് മെംബര്‍ വിപിന്‍ രാജ് എന്നിവർ ഒരു സംയുക്ത പത്രകുറുപ്പില്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.ഫൊക്കാനയുടെ ഭരണഘടന പ്രകാരം 2016 18 ലേക്കുള്ള ഭാരവാഹികളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന പ്രക്രിയ സൂക്ഷ്മവും സുതാര്യവും ആയി മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുമെന്നും മൂന്നംഗ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു കമ്മറ്റി വിലയിരുത്തി .
